The Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation (MEAF) was established in 1991 as the corporate foundation for Mitsubishi Electric US group companies. The Foundation supports national grant programs and employee volunteer programs across the United States to make Changes for the Better for youth with disabilities. Our mission is to help youth with disabilities maximize their potential and participation in society. Since 2011, the Foundation’s vision has been focused on empowering youth with disabilities to lead productive lives through increased employment.
We support projects that focus on the following four areas:

- Disability Awareness & Employment

- Inclusive Manufacturing Camps with Nuts, Bolts, and Thingamajigs - helping students learn about manufacturing jobs
- Aspiritech's Remote Employment & Training Academy with Aspiritech - helping neurodiverse youth find jobs in QA/software testing
- Advance+ with Blue Star Recyclers - training electronics recyclers on hiring youth with autism
- Project LIFE with Butler Tech - pre-employment training program for youth with intellectual disabilities
- Career Trade Programs with TACT - teaching the Autism Community Trades
- Uniquely Abled Academy with Uniquely Abled Project - training youth with autism to be CNC operators
