Founded in 1894, Fitchburg State University has been a leader in occupational/vocational education for over 100 years. Fitchburg State is located in Fitchburg, a city of 40,000 in North Central Massachusetts, about 50 miles from Boston. The School of Graduate, Online, and Continuing Education (SGOCE) enrolls over 200 students in our high-quality, affordable, and flexible programs in occupational/vocational education. We offer a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Occupational/Vocational Education and a Master of Education (MEd) in Occupational Education. Both programs offer 4 terms a year and are 100% online and asynchronous. The 36-credit MEd can be completed for under $15,000 including all tuition/fees and students can transfer up to 6 credits into the program. The 120-credit BS can be completed for under $40,000 including all tuition/fees. Additionally, the BS program offers scholarships/grants and students can transfer up to 90 credits into the program.
