Description
The Saginaw County Youth Ambassador Program is a 3 year leadership development program designed to give students the tools to promote their communities to their peers. The development of a thriving community where young people want to live, work, and play is essential to retaining local talent. Many communities struggle with population decline which in turn negatively impacts economic development. The voices of our young people often go unheard, which was the tipping point for the development of this program. Learn about the essential components to help students find their voice and effectively advocate for what is most important in communities.
