Description
If we want lasting change and ongoing community support, we can’t do it alone! There are many reasons you might need to bring groups of people together to support student success: planning for large-scale change in your school district that requires community buy-in, providing sustainability to an educational model (Career Academies, for example), or providing ongoing oversight and recruitment of CTE and work-based opportunities. Alignment Nashville has been convening school leaders and community stakeholders for two decades to address the most critical issues facing Metro Nashville Public Schools and the Nashville community. In this session, we will share some of our lessons learned and resources that will help you collaborate successfully toward lasting change for schools, students and families.
