Venue
Phoenix Convention Center
Room
West 301 C
Description
Teachers will learn how to use the problem/project-based learning model to develop a school-based enterprise (SBE), where students can apply their thinking and learning from the classroom into a real-world experience. The SBE provides a learning lab where students can develop, maintain and improve product lines for their customers, the student body and local community. Participants will also learn the benefits of operating an SBE and how to work with your administration and community to develop a successful business. Two SBEs will be explored throughout the presentation - a school store and a print shop.
