Description

Teachers and administrators are often faced with the dilemma of how to help students learn how to dialogue without adding unnecessary controversy to the situation. It is essential in the professional world that respectful dialogue can occur and K-12 classrooms are a perfect place for students to learn how to have civil discourse in order to promote a greater understanding of opposing viewpoints. Classroom teachers play a vital role in helping develop the skills required to effectively communicate, this session will focus on tools and protocols to support that learning.
