Bio

The Northwest Educational Council for Student Success (NECSS), is an emerging national leader in the movement to develop equitable systems of high-quality pathways that prepare students for success in their post-secondary endeavors and beyond. As Executive Director and EFE Director for region 070, Nancy Awdziejczyk is strategic in her drive to create a culture of innovation, accountability, and transparency, while also serving as fiscal manager for state and federal CTE grants. Ms. Awdziejczyk draws upon her over twenty-five years of experience, to passionately lead the development and implementation of collaborative initiatives to increase opportunities for all students to complete early college credit. Her work as a champion for CTE began as Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instructional Technology, transitioning from an Early Childhood Education Instructor of high school students. Prior to that, Nancy worked in early childhood as a Child Care Center Director/owner. Ms. Awdziejczyk is a graduate of Concordia University, River Forest, Illinois, with a Master's Educational Leadership, and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Elmhurst College, Illinois.
