Bio
Dr. Bergh received a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education at Washington State University and taught in secondary schools for 32 years. She graduated from Iowa State University with a PhD in Family and Consumer Sciences Education and has spent 22 years as a Family and Consumer Sciences teacher educator at Central Washington University focusing on developing opportunities for CTE students to complete or further their education. She has been involved in a leadership capacity at many levels. She has actively participated in the development, administration, and delivery of the Great Plains IDEA FCS Teacher Education Program, administered the post baccalaureate FCS teacher certification program at Central Washington University, and served on the management team for the National Partnership for Recruiting, Preparing, and Supporting FCS Educators. Presently Co President FCSEA facilitating the transition of the National Partnership to a self-sustaining model.
