Bio

Sean Denny is a Phoenix native who has taught and coached in the valley for 30 years. He has led and developed several successful and innovative CTE programs during that time. He is a full-time professor for Estrella Mountain Community College where he teaches and advises for the Automated Industrial Technology program. Sean’s specialties are creating partnerships in local and national industries, creating interactive advisory boards, developing internship programs, and aligning curriculum and classroom instruction to industry norms. Sean is finishing his research for his Ph.D. on Gen Z retention, which he hopes will illuminate effective education practices for this and upcoming student generations.
