Bio

Ulla Carr is the KCS EPP Supervisor for Knox County Schools in Tennessee. She is now leading her third cohort of CTE educators to licensure and to success in the classroom through a comprehensive program consisting of coursework, coaching, and mentoring.
Ulla was previously a CTE Specialist in her district, where she worked with the new CTE teachers and was responsible for the professional development of approximately two hundred CTE instructors. Prior to that, she taught Business classes for ten years and was the department chair at West High School in Knoxville. During that time, she also worked as a Professional Development Specialist for CTE in KCS and was a Lead Teacher at her school.
Ulla holds an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Tennessee and a Master’s degree in Business Education from Friedrich-Schiller-University in Jena, Germany.
