Bio

Jim Means joined the staff of OCTAE with 38-years of instructional and administrative experience at both the secondary and postsecondary levels. He has served as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, and principal at the secondary level for the Wichita Public Schools; and Director of Adult Education, Vice President of Operations and Interim President all for the Wichita Area Technical College. Most recently, he held the position of Executive Director of Career and Technical Education providing leadership to some 150 CTE educators who delivered instruction to approximately 8,500 CTE students in 18 middle schools and nine high schools.
