Bio

R. Taylor is the Executive Director of the Center for Business and Industry (CCBI), Business Programming, and Early Childhood Education at Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Oregon. She holds a master’s degree in education from Concordia University St Paul and a doctorate in education leadership from Portland State University. She has been an academic dean for 11 years and added leadership of CCBI and the Small Business Development Center to her role in 2022. Prior to her administrative role, she served as a faculty Chemeketa and worked in a variety of programs serving children and families. She is an active volunteer and serves on several local, state, and national boards, including the Oregon ACTE State Board..
