Bio

Mrs. Tiffany Huie graduated from Dixon High School in 2006 and continued her education at UNC-Chapel Hill until 2010. She then attended graduate school at East Carolina University from 2011 - 2013 and obtained her Masters in Counselor Education with a focus in School Counseling. In August 2012, she joined Swansboro Middle School as a School Counselor and remained there until June 2018 when she switched careers completely and returned to her alma mater of Dixon High and Dixon Middle as a Career Development Coordinator. Mrs. Huie has served as the NCACTE Counseling & Career Development Division secretary from 2020 – 2022. She served as the NCACTE C&CD President-Elect for 2022-2023 and transitioned into the President role in July 2023. She has been a presenter at the NC CTE Summer Conference (2020, 2021, 2023), NCACTE CDC/SPC Fall Mini Conference (2021 - 2023), North Carolina School Counselor Association Conference (2016, 2017), and most recently presented at the December 2022 ACTE Vision Conference in Nevada. She is blessed to call Holly Ridge home and enjoys coaching volleyball, golfing, and spending time with her husband, Christopher.
