Bio

Leon Burgess serves as the Director of Secondary Education, College and Career Readiness, and CTE in Florence County School District 3, Lake City, South Carolina. He has 30 years of experience in education and over 21 of those years have been in the administrative arena. He has worked as an adjunct professor at Williamsburg Technical College and Florence-Darlington Technical College. Leon enjoys "geeking out" with electronics and research. CTE is his passion, and he gains momentum from the many students who return to visit and speak of their successes after high school.
