Bio

Katy Hensley comes to IMAGO straight from being an Assistant Principal at a comprehensive high school in Sacramento City Unified School District, a tenure that started just before the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to that, she worked as a district administrator as the work-based learning coordinator within the CTE/Linked Learning department. Before taking on administrative roles, Katy was a classroom teacher for more than 15 years, having taught EL students, adults, elementary and secondary. Katy has a B.A. in Human Development from CSUS (Stingers Up!), a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from UOP, and is preparing to defend her dissertation in Organizational Leadership. The IMAGO team has been a natural progression in her career and she's thrilled to work with the team on creating engaged learners with a high EI.
