Bio

Gabriela is the Dean of Instruction at Chandler-Gilbert Community College and has over twenty-five years of experience in Higher Education and Information Security.
Gabriela holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Robert Morris University and M.S. in
Multimedia from Duquesne University and is currently finishing her Ed.D. in Leadership.
As an immigrant to the United States, Gabriela has a passion, influence, and deep commitment to diversity, inclusion, and student access for building the next STEAM generation. As a girl who dreamed of changing how education shapes women into entrepreneurs, doctors, teachers, and global leaders, Gabriela promotes building robust, sustainable, and equitable educational opportunities. Gabriela pioneered and steered the development of the nation's first Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning program at a Community College. Such initiatives underscore her forward-thinking and innovative approach to education.
Gabriela’s expertise is not confined to academic circles. She has taken the global stage, presenting at many conferences and notably at the Oxford Roundtable, delving deep into subjects like Human and Global Cyber Security and the ever-evolving world of Artificial Intelligence and its impact on the industry sectors.
