Bio

Liz Meitzler Guevara is a National CTE Product Specialist for Savvas Learning Company.  Her areas of specialty are titles seated on Pearson's digital platforms MyLab, Mastering, and Revel.  Liz is also a licensed educator for the state of Virginia.  Liz holds a Postgraduate Professional License in the areas of English, History and Social Sciences, and English as a Second Language. Before her work with Pearson and Savvas, Liz was an ESOL classroom teacher, department chair, and district high school WIDA testing coordinator.  She has over 10 years of experience supporting and instructing English Learners in the K12 classroom as their teacher and advocate.  Liz holds two master's degrees in education - one in Curriculum Design and Instruction with a specialty in ESL, and the other in Secondary Teacher Education with a specialty in English.
