Bio

Marc Hill serves as a community coach and special projects strategy lead for Ford Next Generation Learning (Ford NGL), a signature initiative of the Ford Motor Company Fund. Ford NGL works with communities across the United States and the UK to help K-12 school districts scale community-connected learning opportunities for all students. Prior to joining Ford NGL in January 2022, Marc served as President of the Civic Council of Greater Kansas City, a business organization composed of CEOs of many of the largest employers in the Kansas City region. Before his move to Kansas City in 2018, Marc spent 11 years at the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce in Tennessee, where he worked with Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools as a founding community partner of the Academies of Nashville, the first Ford NGL model community. Marc began his career in education policy, working in both the Nashville Mayor’s Office and the Tennessee state legislature. He has two adult daughters and lives in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
