Bio

Kristiana Routh is a Content Strategist with the National Healthcareer Association. Her primary focus is on the clinical professions. Nationally known as a subject matter expert in the field of medical assisting, Kristiana brings over 19 years of experience from the field. Prior to working for the NHA she owned her own business as a consultant to clients in the allied health education fields. She has authored many publications. Her most recent, and final, textbook “Pearson’s Comprehensive Medical Assisting 5th edition” was published in June of 2022. She worked as both managing editor and lead author on the text.
Kristiana’s experience focuses on creative solutions for educating learners in the allied health professions. Working for years as an instructor for medical assisting and other allied health programs, her approach to the current need is seen through the lens of both educator and expert.
