Bio

Kelly Norstrom knows first-hand the demands and rewards of being an educator, having taught special and regular education in elementary, middle and high school classrooms and served as a principal, director of CTE, director of CCR, and consultant for secondary and post-secondary institutions. These experiences have shaped her commitment to learning for all students with an emphasis on industry partnerships for successful student transitions. Ms. Norstrom has earned 2 Ed.S. degrees in the areas of school psychology and education administration. Ms. Norstrom is the VP of the Region 3 Workforce Development Council, ACT regional council representative, and is a member of Leadership Tuscaloosa. She has 5 children ages 26-18.
