Bio
Kylie Chamblee, M.A.Ed., is the CTE Family and Consumer Sciences and Education & Training Program Specialist at the Arizona Department of Education. Kylie is a mother of two and has been an educator for 10 years in various K-12 classrooms and administrative roles. She has a unique educational and professional background with experiences in the restaurant and catering business since the age of nine, a self-taught baker, and a former vocal music educator and secondary culinary arts teacher of five years (including being an FCCLA advisor of three). Prior to joining ADE in October 2022, Kylie was the education coordinator for a small charter here in Phoenix for two years. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Music from the University of Wisconsin- Parkside (Kenosha, WI) and a Master of Arts in Education- Curriculum and Instruction and Administrative Leadership- from Alverno College (Milwaukee, WI).
As someone who understands the importance of cultural responsiveness and diversity in education, Kylie strives to share best practices, experiences, and ideas to help educators build strong relationships with their students and peers in any educational environment. She has always been a learner at heart and enjoys acquiring new ideas and concepts that can help make education joyful, engaging and relevant, for all students.
